Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the following posts on the ad hoc research project entitled “Model Rural Health Research Unit (MRHRU) - funded by DHR-ICMR”.

Selection Procedure:- Written test and Interview will be conducted to the eligible candidates, if the large number of candidates are found to be eligible in the screening as per ICMR guidelines. If the lesser number of candidates are found to be eligible in the screening, interview will be conducted only to the short listed candidates for final selection. 

The names of the shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board of S.V. Medical College by 03-30 P.M. on 13th July, 2015. The Written/Interview will be conducted on 14th July, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. onwards at the premises of S.V. Medical College, Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh.

DEPARTMENT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF ADHOC TEACHING FACULTY ON CONTRACT BASIS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY 

Period of Contract: Initially appointment is for one semester i.e., August 2015 to December 2015 only, which is likely to be extended for one more semester on performance basis. 

Essential Qualifications: 

(i) B. Tech or equivalent in Biotechnology/ Industrial Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering or M. Sc. in Microbiology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology and 

(ii) M. Tech or equivalent in Biotechnology/ Industrial Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics Or 

Integrated M. Tech in Biotechnology/ Industrial Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics. 

Candidates must possess First Class (60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA) at B. Tech/ M.Sc. and M. Tech. Desirable: Ph.D. in Biotechnology areas. 

The Selected candidates have to take theory and laboratory classes related to Bioprocess Engineering/ Immunology/ Bioinformatics. 

Pay Package: All selected candidates shall be eligible for a consolidated pay of Rs. 30,000/- per month. Candidates with Ph.D. shall be eligible for an additional amount of Rs. 5,000/- per month. 

How to apply: Applications on plain paper with attested Xerox copies of certificates and bio-data along with a justification for eligibility should reach the Head of the Department, Biotechnology, NIT Warangal-506004 in the form of hard copy or soft copy, on or before 8 th July, 2015.
